How should I store my coffee?
The freshness of coffee beans can be affected by air, moisture, and heat. Once roasted, coffee beans release various gases, including carbon dioxide. When storing at home, we recommend leaving the coffee in a cool, dry place (our coffee bags are resealable and utilise a one way degassing valve) or within an airtight container. This will help preserve the beans quality and flavour over time.
How long does coffee last for ?
For the best coffee experience, we recommend consuming our coffee within 21 days from the roast date. During the initial days after roasting, the coffee undergoes degassing, so we advise against consuming it during this period. For our espresso, we find that the optimal time for enjoyment is between 7 to 14 days post roast. However, brewing preferences can vary, so we would encourage you to experiment and discover what suits your palate and brewing methods the most.
What is the difference between natural and washed coffee ?
Natural processed coffee is done by drying the coffee cherries with the outer skin on under the sun or drying beds. Once the cherries have dried, the outer skin and pulp are removed only leaving the bean.
Natural processing can enhance the complexity and uniqueness of the coffee’s flavour profile due to fermentation and interaction between the bean and the fruit during drying.

When should I expect my order to arrive ?
Depending on the time your order is placed, it will be shipped on the same day or the following business day. We roast Monday to Thursday..
